I have the week off next week.

This is still too many, because I don't want to bake every day and essentially burnout.
The thin icing one doesn't really count, because it'll be made on the same day as the sugar cookies (I'll like take the sugar cookie batch, cut it in half and use half for spiral and half for playdough cookies).
I will definitely need new batteries for my camera.
The rest of my vacation will be cleaning lol.

I'll probably try to knock this down to 5 recipes. And unfortunately, the hamburger cupcakes with probably be the first to go, as it is the most intensive.

You know what would totally cheer me up?
A shit ton of snow.

So on Sunday, I saw Avatar with my sister in Imax 3D. 3 Hours of CGI. And I think there was a story in there.

It was (fairly) pretty, but I wasn't as blown away from the CGI as I was expecting to be, especially from what I've been told. I have no doubt at all it'll win at the Oscars in the Graphics department. I would probably just say about 15% of it was really awesome to look at, and the rest was alright.

As for the story itself...Ferngully did a better job to be honest(probably cause it was the height of Robin Williams hilarity period).

Considering how much it costs to go to an Imax 3D movie (what, 16 or 17$?), If I had paid, I probably would have been really ticked. This movie should seriously not be selling out every single day still.
This is my snobby opinion though :P And not many movies(probably two) are worth that admission at a theatre.

Okay, I'm a depressed, cynical person, but seriously it makes me so happy when it snows great, big, fluffy snowflakes.


And it's totally doing that right now. :D

NOW IT'S EVEN WORSE. I mean seriously, I don't have a camera at work this sucks. It's about 15m to the road and there are just faint outlines of vehicles, it's so unbelievable lol.

Edit 3 LOL: 41km/h winds. I swear, if Hurdman station is overloaded again, I will flip
(I had to wait 15min to get on a bus because they were so packed. INCLUDING expresses! ffff it made me so late getting home)

I've decided to change my journal layout a bit. I guess trying something new. I may go back to the original - I really like the colours.

I know there's more than one Mass Effect player on my list.

I have never walked out of a movie.
The closest I came to that was Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen.
I went with a group of friends and Ryan to see it and the two things that kept me from leaving was:
-I was desperately hoping after the first 30 minutes it was going to get better*
-I was worried everyone was going to WTF and go after me or mad at me or some dumb shit.

After the initial thirty minutes, I wasn't going to get a refund, so I decided to sit and suffer.

*Seriously, right from the beginning I was to walk out and kept looking at my watch. "Well, it's only been 20minutes, I can still get my money back...

GI Joe, which I saw shortly afterwards, was totally terrible, but in that "OMG LOL THIS IS INSANELY DUMB XD".
Transformers 2 was terrible in the, "OMG PLEASE KILL ME THIS IS DUMB GOD STOP IT WITH THE TOILET HUMOUR D: D:"

Being a Massive MST3K fan, it is very hard to have a bad movie you can't at least enjoy some aspect of bad.

Santa Hats What is with the santa hats on the icons?

I saw this in an ONTD post and I was wondering if anyone knew why there are hats on the icons? How does that happen?

You know, I was pretty sure a month ago with the demo is was scheduled to come out after Mass Effect 2. Now it's already out? But I can't get it yet T_T
I guess at least now by the time I get it I can probably get it used.

So for now, I'll stick with Pinball.
