I haven't been on for a whole week because my body and brain have been such blah. Brain dead at work and feeling barely conscious at home. so just some quick blurbs:

1. IT'S SNOWING! I feel so happy right now. None is sticking to the ground-and likely won't, with forecasts of rain- but it's those big fat flakes that just look so wonderful.

2. I went to Boston Pizza last night, and man, going on a big gift card and just taking your time and enjoying the restaurant was great. and our waitress was PERFECT. She was so nice, friendly, and had the perfect timing for checking up on us and was always returning promptly for answering questions and everything. I know it was pretty dead last night(Half full maybe on a Friday night, wth?? Never seen a restaurant like that), but it was just a perfect evening. and their potato skins are delicious. Plus having a gift card meant not worrying about the money as much(we went over what I had planned, but easily doable because of the gift card) and I was able to give her a good tip as a result :)

3. Making chocolate fudge and hopefully lemon bars or pie this weekend.

4. The Hobbit is coming out. The Hobbit is coming out. SO. EXCITED. Seeing it Thursday night at 10pm. I am hoping the "3D High Frame Rate" is good, because I fucking despise 3D movies. I know I could wait until Friday night to watch it in normal Theatres, but I like Imax and I'm transferring my LOTR rule over to The Hobbit movies(midnight showings or equivalent), and I have seen advocates talk about HOW HFR-3D TOTALLY RESOLVES 3D ISSUES. I doubt it, but I am willing to give this it's last chance to show me 3D is not a piece of shit. I guess to be fair, I think I am one of those people who get "see" 3D properly, which is why it looks so bad to me. But I am willing to try(especially when one of our movie tickets was free.) Still excited!

5. The soundtrack is gorgeous and even if the movie ends up being the worst movie of all time, I am all over the soundtrack already I love it(Howard Shore, you rock.)

I bought these. I own these now. They are so awesome my only regret is I did not buy a second set.

I'm too excited though - I can't figure out where I want to stick them! Any suggestions?

Also: http://imgur.com/ql9wB I started my christmas decorating. Yes that is my Christmas tree.

yes, it is a CD rack.

This week got busy fast and so exhausting. This weekend will be very lite and a decent amount of cleaning.

Biggest things this week:
- Thursday was my company's hosted event for distributors and vendors. Long time to be standing in heels. My feet are still recovering. When I got home at about 7-7:30 I pretty much passed out then. Completely wiped out and body sore. Upside was the amazing amounts of delicious, delicious catered food.

-friday I went to the NAC for Debussy's La Mer and the piece they played before it was Night on Bald Mountain. SO. GOOD. LIVE. It made me want to go home and watch all of Fantasia. Going to the NAC again Monday for Mahler's Ninth. :D

so lots of cleaning this weekend, buying some Christmas stuff to decorate my apartment, and hopefully get an exercise ball(mark III*). All of the stores near me are smaller versions of the box stores and don't seem to have any >:(

Black Friday shopping was a success for me! I got some goodies for myself and some gifts for others :) Now I just need to do a few more and stock up on lots of baking materials. This will be another busy baking season! I need to figure out what I am going to bake :D

Hi everyone new to my journal, by the way!
I don't really have an intro post, I'm kind of bad at describing myself. But you are welcome to ask me just about anything if you are curious.
I guess the my profile description is probably the best for a quick rundown, but I am realizing right now it may be out of date :o I will go make any needed adjustments, heh.

So this entry isn't pointless, I am looking forward to this weekend to do a bit of Christmas shopping and hopefully get some decorations(namely Christmas lights, oh myyyy I love colourful lights). I am hoping with my mom's.... vast christmas collection I may be able to get some things from her, but my parents aren't back in town for a week, as they are visiting my sister in the US and bringing backMy Land O Lakes Hot chocolate and hopefully vodka(I should have asked for Amurula in hindsight, that shit's expensive(to me)). Sadly I am getting no Girl Guide cookies :( My sister was unlucky in procuring the flavours I wanted, so I have hgiven up for another year. I am pretty sad about this, and my mint ones will have to last me.

Alright I am determined to stick around on LJ, and also making more effort to post and be active. I started going quiet because I figured everything in my life was too boring to talk about, but I'm going to talk about things and be more... talkative? Damn.

Something I want to ask fellow cat-owners: I want to be festive this holiday. I'm sick of zero decorations. I want to feel christmas this year since I have been in such a good place lately. What are cat-safe suggestions or decorations for things? Garland I can at least hang beyond their reach, but I am out of ideas past that. I want a tree, but I have nearly given up on having a tree for the next 10 years.

Why is everything tastier in the United States, and why do the tasty things hate Canada.

I want my god damn hot chocolate, curse you!

I want to be healthy, I want to be active and work out more. I do want to be active! I even feel restless when I am inactive, especially when winter is coming fast.

I just cannot seem to find a physical activity that really motivates me. Running is boring as fuck. And a lot I don't want to do by myself. Or it's just harder to motivate myself alone.

It's been really putting me in a downer mood. Everything else is going well, but this.. "exercise" rut is killing me, and making me care a lot less about eating well, too.

Anyone ever make pumpkin pie from scratch(making the pumpkin puree yourself)? I'm thinking about it, but it seems like a huge damn effort unless it is ridiculously more delicious by comparison.

Yep I don't post for weeks except for ask a recipe question. My life is not exciting.
